स चापि तत्प्रत्यवदद्यथोक्तमथास्य मृत्यु: पुनरेवाह तुष्ट:॥१५॥
उस स्वर्ग लोक की साधन रुपा अग्निविद्या को उस (नचिकेता) को कह दिया। (कुण्डनिर्माण इत्यादि में) जो–जो अथवा जितनी-जितनी ईंटें (आवश्यक होती हैं) अथवा जिस प्रकार उनका चयनकिया जाता है और उस (नचिकेता) ने भी उसे जैसा कहा गया था, पुन: सुना दिया। इसके बाद यमराज उस पर संतुष्ट होकर पुन: बोले।
Yama then told Nachiketa that fire sacrifices (Agni Vidya), the source of the universes, what bricks are required for the altar, how many and how they are to be placed, and Nachiketa repeated all as explained. Then Yama (Death), being pleased with him, and again spoke.
Then, Yama said to Nachiketa about the sacrifice which is the root cause (Aadi kaaran) of all universes. (Yama said) how and which type of bricks are required (for that sacrifice) and how it should be placed. Then, Nachiketa also repeated all what was told. Then, pleased with this, Yama said,
