6th Mantra of 1st Chapter of Prashanopanishad

sa yathemā nadhyah syandamānāh samudrayānāh samudram prāpya tāsām gacchanti bhidhyete tāsām nāmarūpe samudra ityevam prochyate | evamevāsya paridrasturimāh shodashakalāh purushāyanāh purusham prāpya tāsām gacchanti bhidhyete chāsām nāmarūpe purush ityevam prochyate sa esho'kalo'mrito bhavati tadeṣa ślokaḥ ||

Just as these rivers, flowing from different directions, merge into the ocean and lose their individual names and forms, being called simply “ocean,” similarly, those who undertake the journey of Purushayana, the path of the Supreme Person, attain the Supreme Person and become one with Him, losing their individuality and being known simply as “Purusha.” This is the ultimate state of immortality. This is the verse.
